The use of photovoltaic panels is different, and the solar charge controller we choose is also different. Different types of controllers have their own unique functions and are not universal to some extent. Today, I will analyze the main applications of photovoltaic panels and what type of controllers are matched.

   1. Solar street light controller
Mainly used for solar street lights, installed in lamp poles or lamp holders. Fully potted metal casing. It can intelligently control the switch and lighting time of street lights according to the lighting needs of street lights.
According to the output voltage: ordinary output (battery voltage), boost type, and step-down type.
According to the working time: single time period, double time period, multi time period.
Power setting: non-adjustable, manual setting, and intelligent power reduction.
Parameter setting method: button type, infrared remote control type.
   2. Solar system controller
Mainly used for solar off-grid power generation system. Generally installed indoors. Main functions: solar charging, DC load output, LCD display, manual switch. Mainly used for home power generation, border defense, outposts, base stations and other power supply systems.
 3. Solar RV controller (dual battery charging)
It can charge two batteries at the same time, generally used for RV solar power generation system, to charge the engine start battery of the RV and the battery powered by the RV owner.
   4. Hybrid solar controller
It has dual functions of system controller and street light controller.
